Manuel Asbeck

Manuel Asbeck founded Flits in 2023 and runs it as Managing Director and sole shareholder. He is twenty-one, lives in Munich, and studies Information Systems at the Technical University of Munich.

Flits started from a simple idea. The best software companies are built slowly, and the work of a young founder deserves somewhere permanent to live instead of a pile of abandoned projects. Manuel started building software when he was twelve. By the time he founded Flits he had shipped several consumer apps, learned what it takes to grow them, and worked out which ventures are worth keeping and which are worth dropping.

Flits is now a small group of products and companies, all built in-house and owned outright. He thinks in years rather than quarters, and looks for businesses that compound: software with loyal users, products that get better with age, and assets that pay off if you wait.

He works on every company under the Flits name himself. He isn't a passive owner. He's the person responsible for making them worth owning.
